This book was written to address one of the most consequential questions in religious history: Is Jesus God? The answer to this question shapes theology, worship, salvation, and one’s understanding of God Himself. Across centuries, cultures, and belief systems, Jesus of Nazareth has been acknowledged as an extraordinary figure. Yet there remains deep division over His true identity. Some regard Him as a prophet, others as a moral teacher, and still others as a revolutionary reformer. Historic Christianity, however, affirms that Jesus Christ is God incarnate; fully divine and fully human. The purpose of this book is to examine that claim carefully, thoroughly, and respectfully through biblical revelation, historical testimony, theological reasoning, and comparative analysis. The goal is not polemics for their own sake, but clarity grounded in evidence. Every major claim presented in this work is supported by Scripture, with attention given to original languages, historical context, and doctrinal coherence. This book is written for: • readers seeking a clear biblical explanation of the deity of Christ, • believers desiring to strengthen their understanding and ability to defend their faith, • individuals from non-Christian backgrounds who wish to examine Christianity’s central claim honestly, • and students of theology, apologetics, and religious studies. While this work engages competing interpretations; particularly those arising from later religious traditions, it does so with respect for persons and seriousness toward truth. Disagreement is addressed at the level of ideas and evidence, not personal attack. The structure of the book progresses logically: • establishing the biblical framework of monotheism, • examining Old Testament foundations, • analyzing Jesus’ own claims and titles, • evaluating His works, death, and resurrection, • addressing alternative interpretations, • and concluding with the implications of Christ’s identity for faith and life. This book makes no claim to exhaust the subject. Rather, it seeks to present a clear, coherent, and faithful account of the biblical witness concerning Jesus Christ. Readers are encouraged to examine the cited Scriptures directly and to approach the subject with intellectual honesty and openness to truth. If Jesus is truly God, then the question addressed in these pages is not merely theological; it is eternal. This book is offered to assist readers in reaching an informed and thoughtful conclusion.
