Here is a parable Jesus gave, which is often called the Parable of the Sower. However, when you look at this story closely, you discover that it is not only the sower that Jesus talks about in this parable, but the sower, the seed, and the soil. These are three major elements in farming that Jesus talks about in this parable. Before you can have a harvest, there must be a sower sowing a seed, a seed being sown, and soil being sown into. Each of these elements has a unique role it plays in bringing about fruitfulness in the life of a believer. These three (3) have their roles they play in determining the quality of your harvest. The Sower, the Seed, the Soil. We are going to take each of these elements one after another as they appear in the parable, as the Lord helps us.
