Fingermarks, first published in 1996, is the first volume of poetry by Tunde Olusunle. Principally, it grapples with the tone, texture and pace of the modern Nigerian city. It showcases the poet's linguistic dexterity, his eye for detail and passion for social justice. It effectively situates the poet in the bracket of Nigeria's "third generation" writers.
