Soft Spot, Rotten Spot (SSRS) presents a coming-of-age story told using a blend of fiction and non-fiction poetry, curated into five themed parts. Each part offers a retrospective narrative and explores a distinct timeline in the narrator's journey, weaving a tale of self-discovery, growth and transformation. It is an anthology of seventy (70) poems compiled over the last decade. The themes examined in the book include identity, romance, heartbreak, isolation, friendship, free will, girlhood.
