In Broken Bodies, Damaged Souls and Other Poems, Akachi Adimora-Ezeigbo reiterates the importance of justice, gender equality, accountability and tolerance. Exploring such subjects as the Coronavirus pandemic, injustices against women, and immigration, among others, Adimora-Ezeigbo posits that with little acts of kindness and respect, our world can be a better place. The poems are sincere and the language unpretentious, with narratives embedded at several points to add to their thrill. This is a fine addition to a long list of literary credit to an established player of this game.
