A Silent Love is a collection of poems that portrays love as a powerful and transformative force that can bring people together, tear them apart, inspire great acts of heroism or terrible acts of betrayal, and ultimately shape the course of human lives. Love can be a connection to something greater than ourselves, or the thing that shows us who we really, are. It is the oldest feeling in the world, yet somehow always feels new. It is patient and kind, yet requires relentless dedication and hard work. It is, at once, our most comforting support and the thing that makes us lose our balance. It is not time's fool because it will be there until the end of Time. The author, Prisca Nwokorie, believes as expressed in the collection, that love is not at the mercy of time. Time may be measured in hours and weeks; love's only proper measure begins where time leaves off "the edge of doom." Time may alter beauty, but love will not flinch.” This collection is a collector’s gem to be studied and practised.
