Addiction is a scourge that has not only infested this generation, especially the youths; but is also destroying every aspect of the society at an alarming rate. With recent technological advancement, addiction is on the increase in almost every part of the world. Addiction is also one of the factors responsible for the spike in suicide rate. It is therefore pertinent to share knowledge on how to identify addiction, and immediate actions to take afterwards. This book aims to enlighten the reader, their family members, their loved ones, their associates, their neighbours and the society at large on the causes or factors which predisposes people to addiction; how to identify addiction in its early stages; when to seek for expert intervention; and why all hands must be on deck if we, as a people, are to triumph over addiction. Knowing what to do – how to handle the addict or the addiction they are involved with, until they break away from that addiction and return to normalcy – makes up the central theme of this book.
