Ebi Robert is a trained lawyer-cum-creative writer. His first play is An Empty Kingdom, while his second play is Zige. Zige emerged 2nd Runner-up of the Ola Rotimi Prize for drama, and a Finalist of the African Writers Award organised by the African Writers Development Trust (AWDT), Writers Space Africa Foundation and Writers Space Africa-Tanzania (WSA-Tz). Ebi Robert’s poems have appeared in internationally recognised anthologies and e-zines such as: Emanations, Asian Signature, Tuck Magazine, Lunaris Review, etc. He has also contributed to several books which include: Foray into Forever, and 2+2=5 both published by International Authors, Brookline, Massachusetts, USA (edited by Prof. Carter Kaplan); Randomly Accessed Poetics published by Pen Head Press, USA in 2014 (edited by Sarah Gawricki et al.); Epitaph, (USA) edited by Kriti Sengpta and Williams Peters; Tribute to Mandela, (India) edited by Prof Mitiu Olawuyi et al; Muse for World peace 1 and 2 (India) edited by Prof Mitiu Olawuyi, etc. Ebi is also a Spec-fic writer majoring in Science Fiction and Fantasy. His first novel, The Creed of the Oracles, is a trilogy lauded internationally for its originality by great minds like UK new wave sci-fic author, Michael Butterworth; and Professor of Creative Writing, Oz Hardwick, of Leeds Trinity University. Other books include his first poetry collection, Eulogy and Puffery, and an anthology of speculative stories, An Adventure Through Wonders, which he co-edited. The award-winning author is the Founder of ACER Writing House, and a member of highly respected professional bodies. He is a member of the Association of Nigerian Authors, the African Speculative Fiction Society, the British Science Fiction Writers’ Association, the International Authors, USA; and a Fellow of the World Institute for Peace, etc.
