Michael C Amadi is an author and cultural voice rooted in Ohafia, Abia State, in southeastern Nigeria. He writes from the intersection of Igbo oral tradition, Christian faith, and the lived experience of a man who has spent years thinking deeply about what it means to build a home and a life that lasts. His work spans literary fiction, cultural history, and narrative nonfiction. In Rhythms of Africa: The Resounding Voice of Ikoro, he draws on the deep oral traditions of the Ohafia people to explore identity, communal memory, and the moral imagination of a culture carried in the spoken word. The Infancy of Marriage brings that same depth of cultural and spiritual reflection to the intimate terrain of marriage, helping singles choose well in courtship and helping couples avoid divorce by building covenant habits that last. Michael is married to Precious. He is a lovely father, and together they have walked the road this book describes, through loss, financial hardship, and the quiet dailiness of covenant love, with the conviction that a marriage built on God is worth every year of the effort it requires. He is a pastor, marriage counselor, radio personality, and public speaker. As a relationship coach, he believes mediation and conciliation are the path to peace, and he has counseled many troubled couples to keep the fire of their marriage burning.
