Chimnemezu Nwaeze (Vinepaul) is from Isiozi Umuaka, Njaba LGA, Imo state, Nigeria. A member of the Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA Imo and also the immediate past transitory and executive Secretary of ANA Abuja and the current Secretary of ANA Lagos as well the current Media Committee Chairman of ANA national. The fellow of Imodoye Writers Enclave is an award-winning writer across genres with the following titles: Juliet (Drama 2011) Might( Poetry 2014) Duplicity ( PIN10DAYS Poetry Challenge, March 2024). He’s also an editor ( Love, Lauggter and Nature), critical writer critic/book reviewer( Never Again, Flowers: a Comparative Analysis of Flora Nwaya and Akachi Adimora- Ezigbo etc) and a prose writer ( Angles of Life Published 2012). He is a ghost/freelance writer and a distinguished international tutor/lecturer of the English Language and Literature- in- English, ESL, Diction, IELTS, SAT, creative writing/communication skills etc. He has contributed to / is published in several local and international journals and anthologies. His Short story, “Shortput” is one of the very few that made it as part of the PAWA/ Accessible publishers book project Against Open Defecation in Africa.
Nwaeze’s works were part of the 2020 83rd issue of ENVOI, 2018 NASELS Nigeria literary anthology, 2024 ANA Imo Creative Anthology, 2022 Creativity and Art Anthology in celebration of Christopher Okigbo, 2023 International Human Right Foundation, IHRF ‘Speaking Truth to Power’ Global Poetry Activism Anthology etc. His academic reviews/essays have also been published by the Nigerian Review, ANA review, and other local and international journals.
