Chukwudumebi Okoye Joseph-Asoh is a Nigerian-born legal academic who holds a firm belief in the manifestation of God's Kingdom across all areas of society. She hails from Anambra State and was born into the respected Christian family of the Reverend and Reverend Mrs Okoye.
From the age of seven, she has been actively involved in diverse Christian ministry activities, which afforded her early exposure to human relations and the practical application of biblical principles to societal issues. She currently serves as a lecturer in human rights and humanitarian law at Benson Idahosa University, a Christian institution that combines academic curriculum with biblical principles to nurture students into effective Christian professionals.
With a PhD in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, she researches and teaches human rights by integrating biblical principles with secular thought, with the aim of fostering lasting transformation through inward moral values rather than mere legalism. She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
