I am Garba Mohammed, a proactive professional with over 20 years of expertise in computer hardware, software systems, and cloud architecture. I currently work as a Cloud Architect and Engineer at the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in Nigeria. My role involves developing and updating standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance, and providing training to staff. I focus on making technical processes efficient and accessible while staying aligned with industry regulations.

My educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, and qualifications in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I also hold several professional certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, and VMware vSphere. These have equipped me with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, which I apply in my work.

At NITDA, I have held various leadership roles, including Head of the Regulation & Licensing Unit and Head of the Hardware Testing Laboratory Unit. My responsibilities have ranged from setting up IT project specifications to designing and verifying ICT equipment. I have also trained IT students and staff in hardware maintenance and repairs.

In addition to my technical work, I have teaching experience, having worked as a Grade I Teacher and Head of the Physics Unit in secondary schools. I have designed lesson plans, managed classrooms, and supported students’ academic progress.

My research projects include designing a binary-to-Gray code converter and implementing a campus-based e-learning management system. These projects reflect my interest in practical, innovative solutions to technical challenges.
