Abstract
This study examined the role of Leadership Compass in managing and resolving workplace conflict. Drawing from secondary data, the research explores how the four directional leadership styles: North (action-oriented), South (empathetic), East (visionary), and West (analytical) influence conflict resolution strategies and outcomes. The study is anchored on the Leadership Compass Model as the framework for analysis. The study highlights the model’s capacity to promote self-awareness, adaptability, and inclusive leadership. It also identifies key challenges, including over-reliance on dominant styles, organisational rigidity, and cultural limitations. The findings suggest that integrating diverse leadership orientations fosters more effective conflict management and team cohesion. Recommendations emphasize leadership training, organisational support, and contextual adaptation of the model.
