Whenever I have the privilege to address an audience of early career professionals, young graduates, and undergraduates, there is usually one statement that comes up almost every time, albeit in slightly different variants, and that is the regret often expressed by graduates and career professionals about how they wished they had gotten access to these pieces of information before they got into the university or at the very least while they were still undergraduates. It has been my greatest motivation for sharing the knowledge in this book. That way, we can have a generation of youths and graduates that would rather say “I had access to this information as an undergrad and I made use of the learnings.” In each chapter, I share my personal, academic stories that I believe my readers will benefit from, and my hope is that it will further spur them to take action. After every chapter, there are strategic action steps that I recommend you to carry out. If you are able to carry out these action steps, you will be setting yourself up for exponential success upon graduation.
