Nigerian National Human Rights Commission Journal (NNHRCJ)

The Nigerian National Human Rights Commission Journal (NNHRCJ) is a peer-reviewed journal published annually by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The NHRC is mandated by its constitutive Act, among other things, to “promote an understanding of public discussions of human rights issues in Nigeria,” and to “undertake research and educational programmes and such other programmes for promoting and protecting human rights.” The NNHRCJ provides a platform for human rights scholars and practitioners to advance cutting-edge scholarship on theoretical and practical human rights issues in Nigeria and beyond.

Open Access Policy

Like every other publication of the NHRC, the NNHRCJ is circulated to the public and the scholarly community free of charge. The goal is to support academic research and promote knowledge dissemination.
