Information Managers: A Journal of Nigerian Library Association Rivers State Chapter

Information Managers: Journal of Nigerian Library Association, Rivers State Chapter started in 2011 as Omoku Journal of Library and Information Science with its first volume. Subsequently, other volumes emerged up to volume 5. There was a publication gap in 2016. However, in 2017, the move to change its name from Omoku Journal of Library and Information Science to its current name, started with a maiden edition, Volume l, 2017 which grew to volume 7 to be published soon.

The Editorial Board of The Information Managers, the official Journal of the Nigerian Library Association, Rivers State Chapter, invites scholars, researchers, and professionals to submit original manuscripts for possible publication in our upcoming issue. The Journal publishes high-quality research articles, case studies, reviews, and best practices in the field of library and information science, with particular interest in topics relevant to the Nigerian context.

Manuscript Format:
Manuscripts should be submitted in English and must be between 3,000 and 6,000 words (excluding references).
Use a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point) and double-space the text.
Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
Please provide the following details:
Full name(s) of author(s)
Affiliation(s)
Corresponding author’s email address
Title of the manuscript

Include an abstract of no more than 250 words.
Use APA style (7th edition) for citations and references.O

Originality:
All submissions must be original, unpublished work and should not be under consideration by other journals. Authors will be required to provide a declaration of originality.


Peer Review:
Each submission will undergo a blind peer-review process to ensure quality and relevance. Feedback will be provided to authors within three weeks of submission.

Publication Fee:
A publication fee of N 25, 000 will be charged upon acceptance of the manuscript. Details will be communicated to accepted authors.
