This study investigated Librarians’ ICT competencies and management of automated libraries in Rivers State. The study employed a correlation research survey design. The population was 27 librarians in University of Port Harcourt and Rivers State University. Purposive sampling technique was used to select universities that are automated and census sampling technique was used to select the entire 27 librarians in university of Port Harcourt and Rivers State university. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire titled Librarian ICT Competencies and Management of Automated Libraries Questionnaire (CNMALQ), designed on a four-point Likert scale. The researchers, with the support of trained assistants, personally administered the questionnaire. 25 copies of the questionnaire were found valid for analysis. Collected data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correction and values, with all analyses conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 and results presented in tabular format. The findings revealed that Interesting the study discovered that there is a significant relationship between basic computer competencies, Integrated library system competencies and Database management competencies, and management of automated libraries in Rivers State. This implies that ICT competencies significantly relate to the management of automated libraries.
