This study explores the transformation of library services for digital natives, focusing on the role of Mobile Technology among undergraduate students at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Using a quantitative research approach, a survey was conducted among 364 undergraduate students through a structured questionnaire to assess their usage patterns and the challenges they faced in utilizing mobile technology for library access. The findings revealed that 90% of students frequently used mobile apps, 80% regularly accessed the library website, and 85% engaged with social media platforms for academic purposes. However, significant challenges were identified, including internet connectivity issues (45%), frequent app and website downtime (40%), and a lack of technical support (35%). These barriers hinder the full potential of mobile technology in library services. Despite these challenges, the study concludes that the transformation of library services at NOUN has been largely successful. To further enhance digital access, recommendations include improving internet connectivity, increasing the reliability of digital platforms, and ensuring compatibility across a wide range of devices. These measures are essential for maximizing the benefits of mobile technology in meeting the needs of digital-native students at NOUN.
