Information Managers: Journal of Nigerian Library Association, Rivers State Chapter started in 2011 as Omoku Journal of Library and Information Science with its first volume. Subsequently, other volumes emerged up to volume 5, 2015. There was a publication gap in 2016. However, in 2017, the change of its title from Omoku Journal of Library and Information Science to its current title, started with a maiden edition, Volume l, 2017. The journal publishes at least one issue annually, with articles initially published online after successfully passing the review process and being deemed suitable for publication. These articles are later compiled and printed. Additional issues may be produced to commemorate special events, such as conferences, or to focus on specific themes. The journal employs a double-blind peer review system, where manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team and then forwarded by the Editor-in-Chief to independent experts for evaluation. The journal is indexed in CrossRef, Google Scholar, and BoldScholar.
