This paper is a study of school library management in the 21" century. It seeks to determine whether school library managers employ managerial technique in the day to day running of the library, also to ascertain manager's utilization of information and communication technology in staff routine and service delivery. Twenty-five School Library managers were used for the study, a questionnaire was designed to elicit information and simple percentage and frequency counts were used for the analysis. The findings revealed that most of the school Library managers are not professional librarians, managerial skills are poor, the ICT devices are not available due to poor funding, utilization of ICT in library operations was poor, and use of internet by library managers amongst others. It was recommended that professional librarians be employed; capacity building for library managers and support staff especially in ICT and management techniques on how to plan, organize, communicate, coordinate staff and budget for library resources for effective goals achievement.
