Dr. Shams Al Din Al Hajjaji walks us through an analysis of the governance of four Islamic countries: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Morocco. He compares and contrasts the extent to which each country imposes an authoritarian or totalitarian regime and the extent to which each government rules through Sharia law or secular law. He highlights that a shared religion is not synonymous with a shared style of governance and offers recommendations for change.
