Societies around the world have always been fueled by the innovations and new products that entrepreneurs bring to the market. This paper focuses on some business opportunities like information brokerage librarians can venture into as entrepreneurs in contemporary society it highlights the skills necessary for Librarians in entrepreneurship, the characteristics of entrepreneurship and the challenges hindering Librarians from venturing into entrepreneurship. The papers recommended that librarians develop an entrepreneurial culture and mindset and acquire Specific ICT skills to exploit the opportunities in the profession, achieve self-employment and remain relevant.
