This research investigated New Library Policies, Programmes and Services Designed to Mitigate COVID-19 Pandemic in Nigerian University Libraries. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The target population was the librarians working in the 11(eleven) private university libraries in Ogun State, Nigeria. Random sampling technique was used to select six (6) of the 11(eleven) private university libraries, total enumeration sampling method, a type of purposive sampling technique was adopted to select the sample size of 34, constituting all the librarians working in the six (6) university libraries  selected for the study. Questionnaires were administered to all the 34, out of which 27 representing 79 % rate were retrieved and found usable for the analysis. Using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS Version 24.0.0.0), data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation, frequency count and percentage, in cognizance of the objectives of the research. Findings showed that new library policies, services, and programmes designed to mitigate COVID-19 pandemic were effective. The study concluded that libraries must continue to rejigger their library services to steer the new normal library environment and continue to be proactive drawing new policies and programmes to manage developments as the COVID-19 situation evolve and recommended that libraries should readjust library services to be more dynamic in library services delivery, giving more attention to digital library services and remodeling library operations.
